Mission Critical Website
The Mission Critical Website had a lot of extremely helpful material and in the beginning I was a little overwhelmed but once I took it step by step and looked through the sections I found it was not so bad after all. A few of the sections were Parts of an Argument with sub sections talking about statements, vagueness and ambiguity and inference identifiers. I this part of the site I learned the definitions of a few words such as ambiguity which is a word or phrase is said to be ambiguous if it has at least two specific meanings that make sense in context. I also learned the definition for vague which is a word or phrase is said to be vague if its meaning is not clear in context. Most of this material was things that we learned already or was covered in our books but it was a nice little refresher to get to see it all in one place again instead of having to go through the whole book again.

Hi aj, I completley agree with your blog. When I first looked at the website I was a bit overwhelmed too, but as you start to look at it more in depth and take your time with it it starts to clear up.I know that for me always being in a rush when I see things like that that are all together and all one color it just looks like a sea of words. So when i read another blog they said that they should have mixed it up and I totaly agree, colors would have made it much more fun and easier to read. This site will be a really good study tool, just wish it was a little easier to digest.Anyway, nice job:)
ReplyDeleteWhoa I totally agree with you in that it was overwhelming to look at! When I first entered the website, I was like 0.o. my eyes bulged out and I was like “no way am I reading all of this” because there were so many links and other things to read through. Aside from all the readings, there are also multiple quizzes for each section which made me feel even more stressed! But then when I finally took the time to read through them a little at a time, it made it feel not so bad. The website was pretty organized and I really found all the reviewed concepts helpful, but having it all on one page just kinda turned me off. Good job on this post, AJ! =)
